Regarding “Tiantai”: Zhāng’ān sets this against the ancients, hence speaks of it separately. Regarding the name Tiantai, its details are as in the Notes on Great Concentration and Insight, the present Notes, and so forth: although both are preserved, the first intention is provisionally adopted; hence it says “from the former.”
