That Buddha deferred to the princes to form karmic connections, whereas the present Buddha merely has Rāhula to transmit the transformation. Forming karmic connections is identical in meaning to transmitting the transformation—what harm is there? Hence, the present Buddha's preface concentration embraces the main body, thereby becoming entering concentration first and preaching afterward. Since wisdom and concentration mutually accomplish each other, where is there before and after? If so, did that Buddha's prior concentration not also contain both? Incurring doubts and reflections is equally true of both.
