1.38

難曰：夫會三歸一者，正會有中諸行以歸一佛乘，云何乃說空耶？將非指南為北以曉迷徒？論雖有誠言，猶未鑒意，請為會通令無豪滯。

Objection: Converging the three to return to the one properly converges the various practices within existence so as to return to the One Buddha Vehicle; why then do you speak of emptiness? Would this not be pointing south to mean north to instruct the bewildered? Although the treatise contains trustworthy words, we have not yet perceived their meaning; please synthesize them so that there remains no slight obstruction.
