答：通三藏之長，如跋摩之序；障方等之失，現《法華》之文，故言「安住四行演說斯經，不得親近小乘三藏學者。」經有誠誡，可不慎哉。

Answer: Their strength in penetrating the Tripiṭaka is as stated in Harivarman's preface; their fault in obstructing the vaipulya appears in the text of the Lotus Sūtra, which says: 'Abiding peacefully in the four practices to preach this scripture, one must not draw close to scholars of the Hīnayāna Tripiṭaka.' The scripture contains an earnest admonition; how could one not be cautious?
