答：立此三名則遍察眾生事盡。眾生唯有三業，菩薩具觀其三業，故立三名也。又隨眾生好樂不同。又眾生或口不能言、或身不能禮，故具說三名。又眾生忌諱不同，故備三名。

Answer: By establishing these three names, the affairs of sentient beings are completely and universally observed. Sentient beings possess only three karmas, and the Bodhisattva fully contemplates their three karmas; hence three names are established. Furthermore, it accords with the differing preferences and delights of sentient beings. Again, some sentient beings may be unable to speak with the mouth, or unable to pay homage with the body; hence all three names are fully expounded. Moreover, because sentient beings have different taboos, all three names are provided.
