答：生盲之人不得書讀二事，而能誦說受持乃至得道；生聾之人不可示語，都無五種法師，故耳強眼弱也。
Answer: A person born blind cannot do the two things of copying and reading, yet can recite, preach, receive, and uphold, and even attain the Path; a person born deaf cannot be spoken to and has none of the five kinds of dharma masters at all. Therefore, the ear is strong and the eye is weak.
