答：若領先通，無俟今問；如其未曉，更為折之。大判前言凡有三轍：一者於緣並悟，則眾釋無非。二者聞悉失迷，則異說無是。三者自有於此即悟、於彼生迷，則此說成正、彼言為邪。故法無定相，顯在於茲；唯悟是宗，事彰今說也。

Answer: If you had understood the previous resolution, there would be no need for the present question. Yet if you are not yet clear, I shall resolve it further for you. Broadly judging my previous words, there are three tracks: First, if the conditions all awaken, then among the multiple interpretations none is wrong. Second, if upon hearing all are lost and deluded, then among the differing explanations none is right. Third, there naturally are those who awaken at this and become deluded at that; then this teaching becomes correct, and that statement becomes heterodox. Therefore, that dharmas have no fixed characteristics is revealed right here; that awakening alone is the essential is made evident by the present discourse.
