答：教非淺也，但於緣悟故轉勢說之。如猶是一藥，不失心者前服、失心者後服。猶是一正道，利者前悟、鈍者後悟。《涅槃》《法華》更無異也。

Answer: The teaching is not shallow; it was merely spoken with an altered thrust in response to the recipients' awakening. Just as it is the same medicine, but those who have not lost their minds take it first, while those who have lost their minds take it later; just as it is the same single correct Path, but the sharp awaken first, while the dull awaken later. The Nirvāṇa-sūtra and the Lotus Sūtra have no difference whatsoever.
