答：若以未了為祕、以了為顯者，則如所問。但今以淺易為顯示、甚深為祕密，故以《波若》為顯示、《法華》為祕密。說經因緣中已明此義竟。

Answer: If one takes the unrevealed as esoteric and the fully revealed as exoteric, it would be as you ask. But here, taking shallow and easy as exoteric and extremely profound as esoteric, Prajñā is taken as exoteric and the Lotus as esoteric. This meaning has already been clarified in [the section on] the causes and conditions for expounding the sūtra.
