問：身子等昔有二執，一執三乘異、二執佛無常，聞法華教二執皆除，即便領悟。失心子至《涅槃》時猶具二執，則涅槃教起，應破三乘異執，復破無常執也。

Question: In the past, Śāriputra and the others held two attachments: first, clinging to the difference among the three vehicles; second, clinging to the Buddha's impermanence. Hearing the teaching of the Lotus, both attachments were eliminated, and they immediately attained awakening. If the sons who lost their senses still possessed both attachments by the time of the Parinirvāṇa, then when the teaching of the Parinirvāṇa arose, it should have refuted the attachment to the difference among the three vehicles and also refuted the attachment to impermanence.
