答：如來見有一機，故前有機一。說一教，故次有教一。眾生稟悟一教，名為人一。次行一因，故有因一。復得一果，故名果一也。

Answer: The Tathāgata sees that there is a single capacity, so first there is the unity of capacity. He speaks one teaching, so next there is the unity of teaching. Sentient beings receive and awaken to the one teaching, which is called the unity of person. Next they practice one cause, so there is the unity of cause. Furthermore they attain one fruit, so it is called the unity of fruit.
