答：《淨名》云「智度菩薩母，方便以為父。一切眾導師，無不由是生。」智度即是波若，方便即權義。龍樹釋《大品》分為二道：一波若道、二方便道。若爾，《淨名》二慧即是《大品》二慧。而《淨名》既云「一切眾導師，無不由是生。」即知此二慧貫通眾經也。

Answer: The Vimalakīrti says: 'Wisdom is the mother of the bodhisattva, and skillful means is the father; among all guides of beings, there are none who are not born from them.' Wisdom is prajñā, and skillful means is the provisional. Nāgārjuna's commentary on the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā divides it into two paths: first, the path of prajñā; second, the path of skillful means. If so, the two wisdoms of the Vimalakīrti are precisely the two wisdoms of the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā. And since the Vimalakīrti says, 'Among all guides of beings, there are none who are not born from them,' one knows that these two wisdoms run throughout all sūtras.
