評曰：各偏有執，皆為失旨。所以然者，經論具有三種並義。如《仁王經》及《攝大乘論》等云初地並；《大品．發趣品》釋七地名等定慧地，即七地並；《仁經》等及《地經》云八地並。以具有三文，宜並用也。

Appraisal: Each has a one-sided grasping, and all miss the intended meaning. Why is this? The sūtras and treatises possess all three meanings of simultaneity. For instance, the Renwang jing and the Mahāyānasaṃgraha state that the first bhūmi is simultaneous; the 'Chapter on Setting Forth' in the Pañcaviṃśati explains the seventh bhūmi as the stage of equalized samādhi and prajñā, which means the seventh bhūmi is simultaneous; the Renwang jing and the Daśabhūmika-sūtra state that the eighth bhūmi is simultaneous. Because all three texts exist, they should be applied concurrently.
