答：毘曇是小乘，尚有轉根；大乘義無有定性，云何不轉耶？值惡緣故轉利為鈍，值善緣故轉鈍為利也。
Answer: Abhidharma is the lesser vehicle and still has shifting capacities; Mahāyāna doctrine holds no fixed nature, so how could they not shift? Encountering bad conditions, one shifts from sharp to dull; encountering good conditions, one shifts from dull to sharp.
