答：昔明三乘俱有，今忽言二乘無者，昔雖言佛乘是有，今亦可無。脫有此疑，非正意也。

Answer: In the past it was explained that the three vehicles all exist; now it is suddenly said that the two vehicles do not exist, so although it was said in the past that the Buddha vehicle exists, it might now also not exist. Should such a doubt happen to arise, it is not the primary intention.
