答：無緣覺領解，此有其義，以緣覺果人出無佛世也。又法華座中所無，故不敘其領解。菩薩有座，何義故不明領解耶？

Answer: There is a reason for the absence of receptive understanding by pratyekabuddhas, because those who realize the fruit of a pratyekabuddha appear in an era without a buddha. Furthermore, none were present in the Lotus assembly, so their receptive understanding is not recounted. Bodhisattvas were present in the assembly; for what reason would their receptive understanding not be clarified?
