三者遲速二種。《大經》云「若有眾生宜聞速記則授之以速，宜聞遲記則授之以遲。」
Third is the two kinds of slow and fast. The Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra says: "If there are sentient beings who should hear a fast prophecy, bestow it quickly; if they should hear a slow prophecy, bestow it slowly."
