答：不取此義，但明六地未得無生忍，故未得無生記，所以不現前授六地菩薩無生記作佛耳。若恐懈怠者，依後釋也。又《攝大乘論》六地名有相地，亦得約此義為懈怠也。

Answer: This meaning is not adopted. It merely explains that on the sixth bhūmi they have not yet attained the forbearance of non-arising and thus have not yet attained the prophecy of non-arising; therefore the prophecy of non-arising to become a buddha is not given face-to-face to a bodhisattva of the sixth bhūmi. If it is fear of laxity, that follows the latter explanation. Furthermore, the Mahāyānasaṃgraha calls the sixth bhūmi the 'stage with marks'; one may also take this meaning to refer to laxity.
