答：前明不得如此中三根人現前授劫數之記耳，非無通記，以同有佛性而得記者，皆得與一切眾生授記也。三根人就緣因門授記，常不輕就正因門授記，義各有異也。

Answer: Earlier it was explained that they do not receive a prophecy of the number of kalpas face-to-face like the people of the three capacities here; it is not that there is no general prophecy. Because they equally possess the buddha-nature and receive prophecies, prophecies can all be bestowed upon all sentient beings. The people of the three capacities are bestowed prophecies in terms of the gateway of conditioning causes; Sadāparibhūta bestowed prophecies in terms of the gateway of the direct cause. The meanings each have their distinctions.
