答：直言三車則通今昔，若言化城但是今教，昔未言化也。
Answer: Simply speaking of the three carriages pertains to both the present and the past; if one speaks of the conjured city, it belongs only to the present teaching, for in the past [the Buddha] had not yet spoken of it as conjured.
