Answer: This was already explained earlier; what remains incomplete will now be further stated. Based on this, four propositions are distinguished: First, real and not provisional, meaning the one great carriage. Second, provisional and not real, namely the two emissaries and the conjured city. Third, both provisional and real, meaning the three carriages: expounding three from the one is provisional, and because the other two are not true and only the one is real, it is called real. Fourth, neither provisional nor real: although there are previously three propositions, they only constitute the two propositions of provisional and real. Because provisional and real are the meaning of causes and conditions, the provisional real is not real, and the real provisional is not provisional; directly declaring provisional and real, they appear plainly yet have never been provisional or real—this is the fourth proposition. Furthermore, if based on the five vehicles: the human and deva vehicles are not the one vehicle, so they are not real; they are not the three vehicles, so they are not provisional; this constitutes the fourth proposition.
