第六明因果。就本而言皆是果化，就迹辨者過去結緣。示沙彌之迹，但因而非果也。從中止一城，謂果迹。此二中間或因或果也。

Sixth is explaining cause and effect. In terms of the original, it is entirely the conversion of the fruit. In terms of distinguishing the trace, it establishes affinity in the past; manifesting the trace of a novice is merely causal and not the fruit. From stopping midway at a city, it is called the trace of the fruit. Between these two, it is either cause or fruit.
