次明方義。轉必有方所，即是轉境義。若爾，小乘生滅觀照四諦境，故輪於四方轉；大乘明無生滅觀於一實諦方轉也。

Next, we explain the meaning of direction. Turning must have a direction and place, which is the meaning of the object of turning. If so, the Hīnayāna contemplation of arising and perishing illuminates the object of the four truths, so the wheel turns in four directions; the Mahāyāna clarifies that the contemplation of non-arising and non-perishing turns in the direction of the one real truth.
