答：前明同為苦火所燒，故合為一宅。求出者有三根人不同，故教門開為三乘也。今明佛道長遠，三界及二乘地是大惡之道，要須度之然後得佛，是故開一宅為三界。三乘中但二乘地是障，佛乘非障，故但明二百也。

Answer: Previously, it clarified that they are burned together by the fire of suffering, and thus combined them into one house. Because those seeking escape are of three different faculties, the doctrinal gate was opened into three vehicles. Now, it clarifies that the Buddha path is long and distant, and the three realms and the stage of the two vehicles are great evil paths that must be crossed over before Buddhahood is attained; therefore, one house is opened into the three realms. Among the three vehicles, only the stage of the two vehicles is an obstruction, while the Buddha vehicle is not an obstruction; therefore, only two hundred [yojanas] are explained.
