答：蓋引進之言。明汝所度已多，汝所住地近於佛慧，唯二百在耳。當怒力精進，寶所不遙也。以理言之，則所度猶少、未度猶多，二乘發心始入十信，方經五十二位、三十三僧祇劫方至佛耳。爾前極長百劫修行，故所度猶少也。

Answer: It is simply words of inducement and encouragement, clarifying: 'What you have traversed is already much; the stage in which you abide is close to the Buddha's wisdom; there remain only two hundred [yojanas]. You should exert yourselves with vigorous diligence; the treasure place is not far.' Speaking from the standpoint of principle, what has been traversed is still little, and what has not been traversed is still much: when the two vehicles generate the aspiration, they merely begin entry into the ten faiths, and must pass through fifty-two stages and thirty-three asaṃkhyeya kalpas before reaching Buddhahood. Prior to that, the practice of at most a hundred kalpas means what has been traversed is still little.
