答：譬意不同，不可一例。初就隱本顯迹，故分二佛之異。付財之時，欲以大法密教二乘，不明本迹，不得為例。

Answer: The intentions of the parables are different and cannot be treated alike. The beginning relates to concealing the original and manifesting the trace, and therefore differentiates the two Buddhas. At the time of bequeathing the wealth, [the Buddha] wishes to instruct the two vehicles secretly with the great Dharma, without clarifying the original and the trace, so it cannot be treated as an equivalent case.
