答：垂釋迦迹有漸化之義。初說人天乘，次說二乘，後說大乘。若初成道具足說大法者名舍那，故初譬舍那、後喻釋迦也。

Answer: Projecting the trace of Śākyamuni contains the meaning of gradual conversion: first expounding the human and heavenly vehicle, next expounding the two vehicles, and later expounding the Mahāyāna. If one completely expounds the great Dharma upon first achieving enlightenment, that is named Rocana; therefore, the beginning is a metaphor for Rocana, and the later is a metaphor for Śākyamuni.
