答：法身為化物之本，故有大用。又三身為二德，法身是自行德、餘二是化物德，要具自德後能化物也。

Answer: The dharmakāya is the basis for converting beings, and therefore has great function. Furthermore, the three bodies constitute two virtues: the dharmakāya is the virtue of self-practice, and the remaining two are the virtues of converting beings; one must be complete in one's own virtue before one can convert beings.
