答：羅什云：「是異質同處義。淨穢二質同在一處，謂穢在淨處、淨在穢處，故云同在一處。」

Answer: Kumārajīva says: 'It is the meaning of different substances sharing the same location. The two substances, pure and defiled, are together in one place: that is, the defiled is in the pure place, and the pure is in the defiled place; hence it is said that they are together in one place.'
