《正觀論》云「諸佛或說我，或說於無我，諸法實相中，無我無非我」，又應云「諸佛或說假，或說於非假，諸法實相中，非假非非假」。

The *Zhengguan lun* says: "The Buddhas sometimes speak of a self, / And sometimes speak of non-self; / Within the true mark of all phenomena, / There is neither self nor non-self." Likewise, one should say: "The Buddhas sometimes speak of the provisional, / And sometimes speak of the non-provisional; / Within the true mark of all phenomena, / It is neither provisional nor non-provisional."
