若依大數，應先列菩薩，次列聲聞，後列凡夫；若從小數，應先列凡夫，次列聲聞，後列菩薩。今何故先列聲聞，次列菩薩，後列凡夫耶？

If relying on the larger number, one should first list the bodhisattvas, next list the śrāvakas, and finally list the ordinary beings; if following the lesser number, one should first list the ordinary beings, next list the śrāvakas, and finally list the bodhisattvas. Why does it now first list the śrāvakas, next list the bodhisattvas, and finally list the ordinary beings?
