「優樓頻螺迦葉」者，此下三人則是兄弟，非大迦葉流。優樓頻螺者此云木苽林，或云優樓頻螺聚落者，林處即有五百家，故翻經者兩事互舉也。在此林中修道，故以為名。前出經云「上時迦葉」也。

Regarding "Uruvilvākāśyapa": the three persons below are brothers, not of the lineage of Mahākāśyapa. "Uruvilvā" is translated here as "papaya grove," or some say "Uruvilvā village"; where the grove was, there were five hundred households, so translators of the sūtras cite both details interchangeably. Because he cultivated the Way in this grove, it was taken as his name. An earlier translation of the sūtra calls him "Kāśyapa of the Upper Season."
