《法華論》云「是聞持陀羅尼。然法身菩薩應具聞義等持，今略說初一耳。」
The Fahua lun says: "It is the dhāraṇī of retaining what is heard. However, dharmakāya bodhisattvas should be endowed with the retention of hearing, meaning, and so forth; here it merely mentions the first in brief."
