「如此經歷多年」下，第四雙、重明二人行因，今前明善人行因。前但行善因，今次明忍惡也。「說是語時」下，明惡人行因也。「避走遠住」下，第五雙、重明行因。上明忍於口罵，今次忍身打擲也。「以其常作是語故」下，結常不輕名，即顯惡人行因義。

From "having passed many years in this manner" downward is the fourth pair, explaining again the two persons practicing causes. Now first it explains the good person practicing causes. Previously he only practiced good causes; now next it explains enduring evil. From "when speaking these words" downward explains the evil persons practicing causes. From "escaping and standing at a distance" downward is the fifth pair, explaining again the practicing of causes. Above it explained enduring verbal reviling; now next it is enduring physical beatings and stone-throwing. From "because he constantly spoke these words" downward concludes the name Sadāparibhūta, which reveals the meaning of the evil persons practicing causes.
