四等喜是慶他得樂，禪支中喜是自慶有所除得，五受中喜此通垢淨自他，七覺中喜但是無漏，與今並異也。

Joy among the four immeasurables is rejoicing at another's attaining happiness; joy among the dhyāna factors is rejoicing for oneself over what has been eliminated and attained; joy among the five sensations applies to both defilement and purity, self and other; and joy among the seven factors of awakening is exclusively unpolluted (anāsrava). All of these differ from the present [rejoicing in accord].
