適化不同，非一方也。又《大品》皆是出定現瑞，佛既將說非久，故眾所不疑。若如《仁王》之與此經，並是定內現瑞，佛既三昧正受，恐起定未由，是以推瑞意也。

Appropriate teaching differs, and is not uniform. Furthermore, in the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, all signs are manifested upon emerging from samādhi; since the Buddha was soon to speak, the assembly had no doubts. If it is like the Renwang and this sūtra, both manifest signs within samādhi; since the Buddha was in the proper absorption of samādhi, they feared there was no way he would emerge from samādhi, and for this reason they investigated the purpose of the signs.
