彼以檀行攝於六度，初一為資生檀，次兩名無畏檀，後三名為法檀。今既別有六度，但是資生檀也。

That [sūtra] subsumes the six perfections within the practice of giving: the first one is the giving of material sustenance, the next two are called the giving of fearlessness, and the last three are called the giving of the Dharma. Since here the six perfections are treated separately, this is only the giving of material sustenance.
