2.28

「教菩薩法」者，即說無相一法生一切法，以教根熟菩薩也。菩薩修於此法，則行與佛相應，故為佛所護念。遮凡夫二乘外惡為護，令生中道正觀為念。

'The dharma that instructs bodhisattvas': namely, expounding that the single signless dharma produces all dharmas, in order to instruct bodhisattvas whose faculties are mature. When bodhisattvas cultivate this dharma, their practice corresponds with the Buddhas; therefore, they are guarded and kept in mind by the Buddhas. Blocking the external evils of ordinary people and the two vehicles is 'guarding'; causing them to generate the correct contemplation of the Middle Way is 'keeping in mind.'
