上明教法，今明理法。教法但稱為法，教所表理即稱為義。

The previous clarified the Dharma of teaching, while the present clarifies the Dharma of principle. The Dharma of teaching is merely called "Dharma", while the principle indicated by the teaching is called "meaning".
