欲顯一乘是古舊法，令物信解之也。又此時中釋迦、文殊、彌勒共在其中，餘時不必同處也。

It is to reveal that the ekayāna is an ancient and enduring Dharma, so that beings may have faith and understanding in it. Furthermore, at this time Śākyamuni, Mañjuśrī, and Maitreya were all together in it, whereas at other times they were not necessarily in the same place.
