唱滅生其戀慕之善，止哀息其亂道之惡，前後義異，無相違也。
Proclaiming extinction generates their wholesome [feeling] of yearning; quelling sorrow stops their evil of disrupting the Path. The earlier and later senses are different; they do not contradict each other.
