後偈文具顯兩義。「如是大果報種種性相義」謂差別門也。「是法不可示言辭相寂滅」此無差別門也。今言差別、無差別者，差別宛然而無差別，故云不壞假名而說實相；雖無差別而宛然差別，故云不動真際建立諸法。如此了悟，唯是佛能，故歎佛智也。

The subsequent verse text fully reveals both meanings. “Such great fruit and retribution, various natures, marks, and meanings” refers to the gate of differentiation. “This Dharma cannot be shown; the characteristics of words are extinguished” is the gate of non-differentiation. Now, regarding differentiation and non-differentiation: differentiation is distinctly manifest yet non-differentiated, hence it is said that without destroying conventional designations, the true mark is preached; although non-differentiated, it is distinctly differentiated, hence it is said that without stirring from the true limit, all phenomena are established. Such complete awakening is possible only for buddhas; therefore the Buddha’s wisdom is praised.
