上具動三乘之執、生三乘之疑，故佛以方便力示以三乘教。下文云「菩薩聞是法疑網皆已除」，今何故唯二乘生疑、不明菩薩疑？

Above, the attachments of the three vehicles were completely shaken and the doubts of the three vehicles arose, which is why "the Buddha, with the power of expedient means, showed them the teaching of the triyāna." The text below says: "When the bodhisattvas heard this Dharma, their nets of doubt were all eliminated." Why here do only the two vehicles give rise to doubt, while the doubt of the bodhisattvas is not clarified?
