永仁甲午姑洗盡日，因中觀宗師之勸化，彫《法華義疏》之第三。庶幾比丘尼正禪藤氏娘幽儀，乘此寶車直到淨剎，乃至四恩三有利潤無窮而已。

On the final day of the third month (Guxian) in the jiawu year of the Einin era [1294], through the encouragement and conversion of the Master of the Madhyamaka School, the blocks for the third fascicle of the Commentary on the Meaning of the Lotus Sūtra were carved. It is hoped that the deceased spirit of the nun Shōzen, daughter of the Fujiwara clan, will ride this jeweled carriage straight to the pure realm, and that the benefits extending to the four debts of gratitude and three forms of existence will be boundless.
