人天善根蓋是得佛之遠緣，故云成佛耳。《大品》明其近、不取其遠，故無所得善能動能出，有所得善不動不出。此經近遠通說，故並云成佛。

The good roots of humans and gods are merely distant conditions for attaining buddhahood; hence it is said that they attain buddhahood. The *Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā* addresses what is proximate and does not take up what is distant; thus goodness without apprehension can move and can deliver, whereas goodness with apprehension neither moves nor delivers. This sūtra speaks inclusively of the proximate and the distant; therefore, it states that all attain buddhahood.
