天勝人故明天請。又人不能請，天有智慧知佛成道故明天請。又佛山林獨處成道，此中無人故人不請也。

Devas are superior to humans, so the text explains devas entreating. Furthermore, humans could not entreat; devas possess wisdom and knew that the Buddha had attained the Path, so the text explains devas entreating. Moreover, the Buddha attained the Path alone in the mountain forests where there were no humans; hence humans did not entreat.
