《波若》顯教菩薩、密化二乘，二乘之人藉菩薩真實教調柔其心故得入於《法華》，斯乃是假他先達而得後進，豈可言先達之教是方便說耶？

The Prajñā[pāramitā] explicitly taught bodhisattvas and secretly transformed the two yānas; people of the two yānas relied on the bodhisattvas' real teaching to soften and tame their minds and thereby were able to enter into the Lotus [Sūtra]. This is merely relying on others' earlier attainment to achieve later progress; how could one say that the teaching for those of earlier attainment was an upāya exposition?
