昔明五眾既是生滅，今明五眾則不生不滅。不生故非苦集，不滅故非滅道，故名一實諦即無生滅觀也。二乘既是四諦，名生滅觀。

Formerly it explained that the five aggregates are arising and ceasing; now it explains that the five aggregates are neither arising nor ceasing. Because they do not arise, they are not suffering or origination; because they do not cease, they are not cessation or the path; hence it is called the single real truth, which is the contemplation of non-arising and non-ceasing. Since the two vehicles adhere to the four truths, they are called the contemplation of arising and ceasing.
