「長者見是大火」下，第二、明見火譬。此譬所以來者，上歎佛德無不圓、累無不盡，今見子累無不圓、德無不盡，故起大悲心也。

From 'The elder saw this great fire' downward is the second [section], explaining the parable of seeing the fire. The reason this parable follows is that the preceding praised the Buddha's virtues as completely perfect and his bondages as completely extinguished; now seeing the children's bondages as entirely present and their virtues entirely absent, he gives rise to the mind of great compassion.
