永仁甲午蕤賓下旬，印板訖功，孝行作福，沙彌道尊希受爪上人命、𠝶得髻中明珠，豈誰不尊重恭敬哉！而《義疏》刻錭，蓋檀越合力，四恩法界平等施迴矣。

In the last third of the fifth month (Ruibin) of the kōshi year of the Einin era [1294], the printing blocks were completed, performing merit through filial conduct. The novice Dōson sought to receive the life of the Master of the Fingernail and to obtain the bright jewel in the topknot—who would not revere and respect this! The carving of this commentary was achieved through the combined efforts of the dānapatis, dedicated equally to the four debts of gratitude and the dharma realm.
